Maltempo Collettivo is a free improvisation ensemble based in Turin, shaped by influences from diverse musical worlds.

It creates a space for expression and creation in which the social dimension plays a fundamental role: connections are woven or tensions explode through the sound of the other musicians.

The collective’s research aims to build an environment where each individual’s artistic identity can freely emerge while engaging with the other participants in a dynamic balance, collaborating toward a unique, unrepeatable sonic outcome—one that cannot be fully captured, yet can be shared with an audience.
